Mike Gordon
Making a rare London appearance, bassist and co-founder of seminal improvisational rock band Phish, Mike Gordon has announced he will play at The Borderline on March 18th.
His most recent record ‘Moss’ saw the light only two short years after ‘The Green Sparrow’, and about half of the songs on the newbie stem from the same 50-song burst of creativity that seeded its predecessor. Soundscapes and musical evocations of particularly fanciful flights and sounds experienced while on hallucinogenic vision quests joyfully co-exist with an inspirational devotion to muses, mentors and the ecstatic, infectious, danceable, upbeat and a visceral locum of reality. Mike’s five-piece line-up for The Borderline will include longtime collaborator Scott Murawski on guitar, Vermonters Craig Myers on percussion and Tom Cleary on keyboards and Brooklyn drummer Todd Isler.
Age restrictions – shows are 14+, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, proof of age upon request regardless of advance ticket purchase.
