Sarah Gillespie, Gilad Atzmon
Sarah Gillespie, the Greenwich-born singer-songwriter’s style is vocal folk, occasionally with political undertones, but she has recently branched out into more jazz-inspired territory. She is perhaps best known for her song ‘How the Mighty Fall’, from her debut album ‘Stalking Juliet’, but The Borderline audience should listen out for the bittersweet album track ‘Million Moons’. Expect to hear emotive ballads & raucous gypsy swing incorporating pre-rock elements of blues & vaudeville – all with her trademark striking lyrics.
Supporting will be Gilad Atzmon, the renowned Israeli-born jazz artist.
